The Lowdown
The Canberra Runners Half Marathon is run each May by the Canberra Runners club, starting and finishing at Lennox Gardens in Yarralumla. The 21.1 km course is an out-and-back around the West Basin of Lake Burley Griffin to Scrivener Dam, and it is described as undulating. The race is fully timed, with a 3 hour 30 minute cut-off and medals for all finishers. A 10 km runs at the same time on the same course as far as Weston Park and back, and a 1.6 km junior run is held the day before. The next edition is Sunday 16 May 2027, and the entry price below is the early-bird non-member fee, which rises after 31 March 2027.
