EPIC Marathon & Running Festival
The Lowdown
The EPIC Marathon & Running Festival is the fast, flat, Boston-qualifying marathon that took over Green Bay's May running weekend after the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon ended its 25-year run in 2024. Organized by EPIC Event Center and Race Day Events, the USATF-certified course (WI25008DM) launched in May 2025 and starts and finishes on Cormier Road outside the EPIC Event Center in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. The route passes Lambeau Field, Capital Credit Union Park, the Mason Street Bridge, and the Fox River Trail before returning to Holmgren Way, with 18 aid stations along the way. A half marathon, marathon and half marathon relays, a 5K, and a Kids Dash run alongside the full marathon, and the weekend closes with live on-course entertainment and a post-race concert party. The inaugural 2025 marathon drew 393 finishers and helped raise $25,000 for Feeding America - Eastern Wisconsin.
