The course mixes paved Legacy Trail sections with country roads. The marathon has about 1,300 feet (400 m) of climbing and the half marathon about 600 feet (180 m). The 2027 race is the 12th annual edition and benefits Bluegrass Farms Charities. Both distances start at 7:30 AM and finishers get a medal and a tech shirt.
