The Lowdown
The Las Vegas Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning 5K and family fun run hosted by Life Time at its Summerlin club. Runners start at the Las Vegas Ballpark (Aviators Stadium) and finish at Life Time Summerlin, on a mostly flat course with a mild incline that runs through the heart of Summerlin, passing near Faith Lutheran High School and skirting the edge of Downtown Summerlin, with the Red Rock Canyon mountains visible for much of the route. A 1 Mile Family Fun Run starts alongside the 5K for kids and families. Every finisher receives a bib, T-shirt, and finisher's medal, and the morning wraps up with a post-race party on the Life Time pool deck. The event is run as the Life Time Las Vegas Turkey Trot and is open to runners and walkers of all paces.
