London 10K
The Lowdown
The London 10K is a mass-participation, closed-road 10K through the heart of central London, run each July since the race's origins as the British 10K and its long run as the ASICS London 10K before Saucony took over the title sponsorship. The route starts on Piccadilly and finishes on Whitehall, passing Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, the London Eye and Big Ben along the River Thames. Around 19,000 runners take part, backed by bands, DJs and cheer stations the length of the closed-road course, with chip timing and a finisher's medal and t-shirt for every runner. Most runners enter through official charity partners, paying a registration fee alongside a minimum fundraising pledge (commonly around £200); a smaller number of guaranteed places are sold without a fundraising commitment through resale partners. The 2026 edition sold out across all release phases, and entries for the next edition on July 11, 2027 opened first to 2026 finishers, with wider public entry to follow. Race pack collection takes place at the Saucony Store in Covent Garden in the days before the race, with road closures from early morning.
