The Lowdown
The Medio Maratón Deportemanía Tampico is a February half marathon in Tampico, Tamaulipas, organized by Deportemanía. The 14th edition ran on February 8, 2026 with a 7K alongside the 21K, and both distances started at 6:30 a.m. in front of the municipal palace. The field is capped at 2,000 runners and the 2026 edition sold out. The race kit includes a bib, timing chip, commemorative shirt, commemorative medal, hydration and medical service. The race has run in the second week of February in recent years, so the next edition is expected around February 14, 2027.
