The Lowdown
Medio Maratón Palos Garza is an annual half marathon in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, organized by customs broker Mario Palos Garza. The tenth edition, in November 2025, started and finished at the Unidad Deportiva Benito Juárez and followed Boulevard Colosio and Avenida Ruiz Cortines. The 2026 edition is set for Sunday, November 8, with a 7:00 a.m. start and 5K, 10K and 21K races plus a 3K family walk. Each entry includes a bib, a t-shirt, a finisher medal and a sports backpack.
