The Lowdown

Oakville 21.1 brings half marathon, 10K, and 5K runners to the Lake Ontario shoreline in Oakville, Ontario, for a flat, fast course that traces Lakeshore Road West and loops through Tannery Park before finishing back at Shell Park. Aid stations appear roughly every 3 km along the route, and the half marathon carries a 3.5-hour cutoff. The event revived Oakville's pre-pandemic half marathon tradition in 2024 after a three-year hiatus, drawing more than 2,200 runners in its comeback edition, and has run every fall since under Endurance Event Productions. Nutrience has served as title sponsor since the relaunch, and proceeds support the Cardiology Department at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital through the Oakville Hospital Foundation. Runners without a car can take a shuttle from the Bronte GO Station, since there is no race-day parking at Shell Park. No dogs or strollers are permitted, and every finisher receives an event T-shirt and finisher medal.
