Maratón Donostia - San Sebastián
The Lowdown
The Maratón Donostia - San Sebastián (currently titled the Zurich Maratón San Sebastián under its title sponsor) is Spain's second-oldest marathon and one of Europe's most popular and prestigious road races. The 2026 edition marks its 47th running on Sunday, November 22. The fully urban, flat, sea-level course loops around the iconic La Concha Bay and through the eastern part of the city, showcasing San Sebastián's coastal Basque setting and drawing international runners chasing personal records on fast, certified roads. A 10K race is held alongside the marathon on the same day. The field is capped and historically sells out, with 2026 bib pricing tiered from EUR 59 up to EUR 95 as capacity fills.
