TBK Bank Quad Cities Marathon
The Lowdown
The TBK Bank Quad Cities Marathon is a USATF-certified, Boston Marathon-qualifying race that follows the Mississippi River through downtown Moline, Illinois, crossing 3 bridges and 2 states (Illinois and Iowa) as it links 4 cities -- Moline, Rock Island, Davenport, and Bettendorf -- around Campbell's Island. First run in 1998, the race has carried TBK Bank as title sponsor for more than two decades, with the bank renewing its commitment through 2027. The course is mostly flat and fast, aside from a bridge climb and a rise near mile 3, and RaceRaves named it the best marathon in Illinois for 2025. Race weekend also includes a half marathon, 5-person relay, 10K, 5K, 1-mile walk/run, and a kids micro-marathon, plus the Active Endeavors Health & Fitness Expo and packet pickup on Saturday at Vibrant Arena at the Mark, which also serves as the marathon start and finish.
