Toulouse Marathon
The Lowdown
The Toulouse Marathon is the marathon centerpiece of the Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience, an autumn running festival held across the 'Pink City' (la Ville Rose). The 42.195 km course starts and finishes near Allée François Verdier in the city center, passing landmarks including the Piste des Géants, the Cité de l'Espace, the Oncopole, Pont des Catalans, Rue de Metz, and Pont Neuf, over a mostly flat route with roughly 130 meters of elevation gain. Alongside the marathon, the event offers a half marathon, a 10K, a marathon relay, and children's races, and drew about 37,000 participants across all distances in 2025 — one of the largest running festivals in southwest France. The title sponsor is Harmonie Mutuelle, a French health-insurance mutual; the event was previously known simply as the Toulouse Métropole Run Experience before the current sponsorship, so the sponsor-neutral 'Toulouse Marathon' is used as the stable record name, with sponsor history noted here. A race village runs October 29-31, 2026 for bib pickup and running-related activities, and the marathon field is capped at 7,500 runners with a 6-hour time limit.
