The Lowdown
The Wenatchee Marathon is a USATF-certified marathon held in April along the Apple Capital Loop Trail beside the Columbia River, with Cascade Mountain views. The course is mostly flat with a few rolling hills and largely on traffic-free paved trails. A half marathon, 10K and 5K run on the same morning, and walkers are welcome in every event. The marathon starts at 8:00 AM, and finishers get a custom medal and a downtown Wenatchee celebration with live music, local beer and food trucks.
