Xi'an Marathon

The organizer announced that 2026 registration closes at 17:00 on 20 August, ahead of the lottery for the 24,000 marathon and 12,000 half marathon places.

The organizer published the finisher medal and the official race shirt for the 2026 Du Xiaoman Xi'an Marathon.

1. 01Yongning Gate – south gate of the Xi'an city wall, at the start.
2. 02Bell Tower – the course loops the Bell Tower roundabout on South Avenue.
3. 03East Avenue and the East Gate – the route leaves the walled city through the east.
4. 04Guangyuntan Avenue – the course heads into the Chanba district.
5. 05Xi'an Olympic Sports Center Stadium – marathon finish.

• Registration through the official site, the WeChat accounts 曲江赛事 and 西马汇跑, or the 掌上西马 mini program.
• If applications exceed the places, entries are decided by lottery with a waiting list.
• Elite athletes enter through the organizer by phone or email, not through mass registration.

• Marathon entrants must turn 20 in the race year (born on or before 31 December 2006).
• Half marathon entrants must turn 18 in the race year (born on or before 31 December 2008).
• Marathon entry needs one marathon or two half marathon results within 24 months before the registration deadline.
• Half marathon entry needs two results at 10 km or longer within 24 months before the registration deadline.
• Runners aged 65 and over must submit a participation pledge signed by themselves and a family member.
