Yokohama Marathon

Yokohama Marathon is one of Japan's major urban marathons, taking runners through Yokohama's iconic waterfront. The full marathon course traverses the Minato Mirai district, passing landmarks including the Yokohama Landmark Tower, Minato Mirai Bridge, Yokohama Central Wholesale Market, Pacifico Yokohama, and the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. With a 6-hour time limit and a capacity of approximately 20,800 full marathon runners, the race draws participants from across Japan and internationally. The 2026 edition marks the 11th running of the current format with a record total of 30,200 participants across all categories. The race is organized by the Yokohama Marathon Organizing Committee under Yokohama City.
