The Lowdown
The 15 km de Liège Métropole is a road race through the city of Liège, run as the Ethias 15km de Liège Métropole. The 2027 edition is on Sunday 11 April. The 15 km starts at the Esplanade des Guillemins in five waves from 11:00 and finishes in the Parc de la Boverie, where the event village is set up. The route climbs the short, steep rue Monulphe, passes through the Saint-Laurent quarter and the former hospital, then drops through the botanical garden and the Guillemins station, before following the Ourthe canal and the Meuse back to the finish. Aid stations are at 5 km, 10 km and the finish, and the minimum speed is 7 km/h. A 7 km race, children's races, walks and 26 km and 45 km trails run the same day.
