The Lowdown
The 20 km de Bruxelles is Belgium's biggest road race: a 20.1 km loop through Brussels that starts and finishes around the Parc du Cinquantenaire, with a field of about 50,000 runners and walkers. The course crosses several Brussels municipalities, with six water points and one energy-drink station along the way, and bands playing on the route. The 2027 edition is the 47th, on Sunday 30 May. Registration opens in early 2027, and recent editions have sold out within minutes, so be ready when it opens. A walkers' wave starts later in the morning, and a handisport box leaves first.
