Adani Ahmedabad Marathon
The Lowdown
The Adani Ahmedabad Marathon is Gujarat's largest road race and one of India's fastest-growing marathons, run along the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad. Adani Group has been the title sponsor since the event's inaugural 2017 edition, and the race is AIMS-certified, the only Ahmedabad event on the AIMS World Running calendar. Runners choose from a full marathon (42.195K), half marathon (21.0975K), 10K, or 5K, with the flat riverfront course drawing over 24,000 participants in 2025, including more than 4,000 serving military and police personnel from the Army, Navy, and Air Force who run under the event's #Run4OurSoldiers theme, with proceeds supporting military welfare funds. The 2026 edition marks the race's 10th anniversary.
