Bangsaen42 Chonburi Marathon

The Bangsaen42 Chonburi Marathon is Thailand's single-distance marathon on the Gulf of Thailand coast, with a World Athletics Elite Label for 2026 and AIMS membership since the first edition in 2017. The 2026 race is the 10th anniversary edition. The course heads toward the Chonlamarkwithi Bridge, follows one of the area's coastal roads and climbs Khao Sam Muk, and the finish is in front of the Bangsaen Heritage Hotel. The race starts in the dark, with waves at 2:30, 2:45 and 3:00 AM, and the finish line closes at 10:00 AM after a 7-hour limit counted from the last wave. The field is capped at 12,000 runners and registration for 2026 is closed because the race reached capacity. Bibs are collected in person on Friday and Saturday before the race, with no pickup on race day. Entry is 2,000 THB at the regular price, with guaranteed-entry tickets, a lottery and discounted PRO prices.
