BHM 26.2

BHM 26.2 is the marathon of the BHM26.2 Race Series, run from The Finley Center at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex in Hoover, Alabama, just south of Birmingham. The marathon, half marathon and 5-person marathon relay start at 7:00 AM, with the 10K and 5K at 7:15 AM and a kids fun run at 10:00 AM. The organizers say the courses are certified through USATF, so the marathon is a Boston qualifier. Water stations sit roughly every two miles, there is a 6-hour limit for the marathon, and the field is expected to top 2,000 runners. All proceeds benefit Magic Moments, a nonprofit that serves Alabama children with chronic or life-altering conditions. Packet pickup and a vendor expo run on Saturday, and a family after party follows the race.
