Coeur d'Alene Marathon
The Lowdown
The Coeur d'Alene Marathon (branded on-site as the CDA Marathon) is a marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K weekend held every May in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, a resort town on the shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene. All distances start and finish at McEuen Park in the downtown lakefront district. The marathon follows a rolling, out-and-back route on city streets and the North Idaho Centennial Trail, with its most scenic stretch running along the lakeshore from around mile 3 and a notable climb near mile 5. The course is USATF-certified and a Boston Marathon qualifier. The North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation is the race's official charity partner. Fields are modest compared to major-city marathons, giving the event a small-town, community feel with strong local crowd support along the course. The 2027 edition is scheduled for May 30, 2027; online registration for that edition had not yet opened as of this writing. In the 2026 edition, marathon entry ranged from $90 during early registration up to $140 in race week.
