The Lowdown
The Colorado Springs Super Half Marathon is run on Super Bowl Sunday in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, and benefits the Pikes Peak Road Runners club. The 2027 edition is on Sunday, February 14, with the half marathon starting at 10:00 AM on Colorado Avenue just west of Tejon Street. The course is an out-and-back on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail with the turnaround about 6.8 miles from the start, fast with a slight elevation gain on the way out. A Game Day 5K starts at 10:15 AM. The finish line closes at 1 PM. All finishers receive a medal that doubles as a bottle opener, and half marathon finishers also get a pint glass. Overall top three, a masters (40+) winner and the top three in each five-year age group receive awards. The race has been run under the Toyota title sponsorship since 2026, and more than 1,500 runners ran the 2026 edition.
