The Derde Kerstdagloop (Third Christmas Day Run) is an annual road race held every December 27 in the wooded hills on the northern edge of Arnhem, in the Dutch province of Gelderland. Organized by athletics club Ciko'66, the event offers a 7 km and a 14 km route alongside a 21.1 km half marathon that is widely regarded as one of the Netherlands' most scenic and toughest, climbing roughly 185 meters over mostly car-free paved bike paths through forest and heathland. All three distances start and finish at Sportcentrum Valkenhuizen, Ciko'66's home track. The 2026 edition, the race's 33rd, runs on Sunday, December 27, 2026, with the half marathon starting at 12:00, the 7 km at 12:10, and the 14 km at 12:20; pre-registration is open online only, closing December 26 at 20:00 or once 1,750 entries are reached. Physique, a local fitness chain, is the event's title sponsor.
