Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

The Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon brings runners and walkers to Johns Creek, Georgia on Thanksgiving morning for a multi-distance holiday tradition organized by Five Star NTP. All four distances - 5K, 10K, 15K, and Half Marathon - start together at 8:00 AM from Johns Creek Parkway and follow a repeating 3.1-mile loop through the city's rolling North Georgia terrain; organizers describe the course as fairly flat with a few gentle rises, and finishers have up to a 16-minute-per-mile pace to complete it. Water stations are spaced roughly every 1.5 miles along the route. The race benefits the Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer, and runners who finished any Five Star race between December 2025 and mid-November 2026 can register for this Turkey Trot at no cost, while other entrants pay a flat $21 advance fee ($25 on race day) across every distance. Finisher medals, long-sleeve shirts, and hoodies are available as optional add-ons, and virtual versions of all four distances let out-of-town participants take part from anywhere.
