Halve Marathon Turnhout

Halve Marathon Turnhout is a late-September half marathon organized by Taxantria in the Flemish town of Turnhout, run since at least 2022 and known recently as the Vansweevelt Vastgoed Halve Marathon. The start is at Nieuwe Kaai. The course is a scenic run through the Turnhout Vennengebied (fen area), past the marina and the Bels Lijntje, and the organizers warn that the ground can be heavy going in wet weather. The 2026 edition started at 11:30 on Sunday 27 September, alongside a 10 km, a 5 km and kids' runs. Finishers get a medal, and the event offers professional timing, aid stations, showers and changing rooms, and a large terrace. The top three in the half marathon win prize money. The next edition is expected on the last Sunday of September 2027, with registration details to follow.
