The Lowdown

Ludvika Stadslopp is a city run organized by Ludvika FFI, held on a Saturday in late May. The 10K and 5K both start at 13:00 and can be run with or without timing. Earlier in the day there are two children's races, the Knatteloppet (about 500 m, up to 6 years) and the Lilla Stadsloppet (about 1 km, up to 12 years). Start and finish are at Charlie Normans torg, between the train station and the small boat harbour. Every participant gets a medal, and the 10K pays cash prizes to the top three. The 2026 edition drew more than 1,100 registered runners.
