Maratón Internacional de Mendoza
The Lowdown
The Maratón Internacional de Mendoza (MIM), organized by Fundación Filípides, is the flagship marathon of Argentina's wine capital and one of South America's most prominent road races. First run in 1999, it marked its 25th anniversary in 2025 and drew over 11,000 runners across all distances in 2026. The 42K course starts at the iconic Puente Colgante de Cacheuta (the Cacheuta hanging bridge) and finishes at the gates of Parque General San Martín, tracing a net-downhill route alongside the Río Mendoza and through the vineyards of Luján de Cuyo, with the Andes as a constant backdrop. A full member of AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races), the race also offers 21K, 10K, and 4K options and is a centerpiece of Mendoza's running and wine-tourism calendar.

Founded in 1999; celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2025 (2026 was its 26th edition), organized by Fundación Filípides.
Course passes approximately six wineries across the 42K and 21K distances, a signature feature of the wine-country setting.
Entry pricing is quoted only in ARS on Eventick and is subject to frequent tiered increases typical of Argentine inflation; the price captured here is an LLM estimate of low confidence, not a scraped ticketing figure -- verify current pricing directly on Eventick before relying on it.
Free clothes-check bus service provided at each distance's start corral.
2026 edition drew 11,000+ registered runners from across Argentina and abroad.
