Medio Maratón Salta is an annual half marathon through the city of Salta in northwest Argentina, run as the Medio Maratón New Balance Salta. The third edition took place on Sunday, March 29, 2026, with a 21K and a 10K starting at 8:00. About 4,000 runners took part despite rain, and entries had sold out by March 11. The Agencia Salta Deportes of the Municipalidad de Salta organizes it, and the 10K doubled as a stage of the national road championship. Check-in was at the Hotel Sheraton Salta the day before, and the city closed the 21K and 10K circuits to traffic during the race. The 2027 date follows the last-Sunday-of-March cadence and has not been announced.
