Milton Keynes Marathon
The Lowdown
The Milton Keynes Marathon is an AIMS- and UK Athletics-certified marathon held every May Bank Holiday weekend in Milton Keynes, England. Since launching in 2012, the race has grown into a full weekend of events - the Rocket 5K, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay, and Superhero Fun Run - with Brioche Pasquier as headline sponsor. The Marathon and Half Marathon start and finish at Stadium MK, following the city's traffic-free Redway network through Milton Keynes' linear parks, giving runners a scenic, largely car-free route. Because the course is AIMS-certified, finishing times qualify as entry-standard performances for other major marathons, including Boston and London. The Marathon carries a 6.5-hour time limit, with intermediate cut-offs at the second lap and Mile 21.
