Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon

The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon starts and finishes at AMT Headingley Stadium in Leeds, taking runners through Headingley, Leeds city centre, Adel, Bramhope and Otley before a climb up the Otley Chevin and a return through the city's northern suburbs. Organized by Jane Tomlinson's Run For All, the marathon raises funds for the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal and the MND Association, named for the former Leeds Rhinos rugby league player who died from motor neurone disease in 2024. The race has sold out in recent years, drawing more than 10,000 runners to a route through some of Yorkshire's most scenic countryside and outer suburbs. Entrants receive chip timing, a finisher's medal and an optional finisher t-shirt, with pacers, water stations and medical support along the course. Entry is open to anyone 18 or older on race day, either through general entry or a charity partner place with a fundraising commitment.
