The Lowdown

The Semi-Marathon de Mons is a half marathon in Mons, Belgium, that starts on Rue de Nimy and finishes on the Grand-Place. The 8th edition ran on Sunday, October 4, 2026, and the event has been held in early October since 2018. The half marathon starts at 10:00 AM, followed by a 10 km at 10:30 AM and a 5 km at 10:50 AM. A 10 km walk, a children's race and a joëlette start earlier in the morning. Aid stations are at Hyon, the Cascade d'Hyon, Chemin du Chêne aux Haies and the Grand-Place. Runners have 3 hours to finish. All proceeds go to Télévie, which received 28,000 euros in 2024 and 33,000 euros in 2025. The 2027 date is projected from the first-Sunday-of-October pattern and has not been announced.

Minimum Age: 18 years
Entry Methods: Online registration through Chronorace; no registration on site.
Groups of 10 or more register together through a group captain.
Eligibility: Minimum age is 18 for the half marathon, 15 for the 10 km and 12 for the 5 km, counted in the current calendar year.
