The Lowdown
The Snohomish River Run is a fall race weekend in Snohomish, Washington, with a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K. The course follows the Snohomish River through the historic valley, past farmland and evergreens, and the organizers call it fast and runner-friendly. The marathon starts at 7:30 AM, the half at 8:00 AM, the 10K at 9:00 AM and the 5K at 9:30 AM, all near 1st Street and Avenue D. The marathon is a certified Boston qualifier course with a 5 hour time limit and a cap of 400 runners, and the half marathon is USATF certified. All finishers receive a shirt and a finisher medal, and marathon finishers also get a crewneck. The race benefits Volunteers of America Western Washington.
