The Lowdown
The Welser Halbmarathon is a flat, fast half marathon in Wels, run over three laps of a 7.005 km city loop that follows the Traun river. The course is AIMS-measured, and the race has served as the Austrian half marathon championship. It starts at Welios Platz and finishes at the Stadthalle Wels. The half marathon starts at 11:00 on race Sunday. The weekend also includes a 14 km, a 10 km, a 5 km Power Run, a family relay and children's runs on Saturday. Run as the BRP-Rotax Halbmarathon in recent years.
