The Zagreb Marathon is Croatia's oldest city marathon, first held in 1992, with the start and finish on Ban Josip Jelacic Square in the heart of Zagreb. The single-loop course offers a full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.1 km), Garmin 10K, relays and children's races, all on the same October weekend. The 2026 edition is the 34th and runs concurrently with the World Masters Athletics Marathon Championships. The marathon has a 5-hour-30-minute time limit; the half marathon has no cutoff.
