The Dubrovnik Half Marathon is the signature race of Du Motion - Runners' Days Dubrovnik, an event weekend organized by Du Motion and held annually since 2013 on the historic streets of Dubrovnik's UNESCO-listed Old Town. Certified and endorsed with five stars by European Athletics, the 21.1 km course starts and finishes on Stradun, the polished limestone promenade at the heart of the Old Town, then loops out past St. Dominik Street, Ploče Gate, Pile, and along the Stjepan Radic and John Paul II coastal roads through Batahovina, Sustjepan, and Komolac before retracing the route back to the walls. Runners tackle a steep climb right at the start and finish and again near kilometer 18, with panoramic Adriatic Sea views and the city's medieval fortifications as a backdrop throughout. The weekend also includes the 2K Run the Wall, a 5K citizens' race, and a kids' event, and race packages come with free entry to Dubrovnik's cable car, city walls, Lokrum island ferry, museums, and public transport for several days. Entry is capped at 1,000 half marathon finishers, with a 3-hour time limit and a minimum age of 16 (parental consent required under 18).
