Darlington Half Marathon

The Darlington Half Marathon is a brand-new, fully road-closed half marathon in Darlington, County Durham, in North East England, organized by RunThrough. The inaugural edition takes place on Sunday, December 6, 2026, with a flat 13.1-mile course that starts in the heart of Darlington on High Row, heads west into the quiet rural roads of County Durham for long, flowing countryside miles, and returns for a High Street finish through the town centre. Water stations are provided approximately every 5K along with water at the finish, and every finisher receives a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, and post-race goodies. The event supports Darlington Mind as its charity partner. Race day starts at 9:00am. Entry costs £40 for the Standard tier, which remains open through November 8, 2026, with the earlier Super Early Bird and Early Bird pricing windows already closed. As a first-time event, expected participation is modest, with roughly 350 runners booked within the past month as registration continues to build ahead of race day.
