Held in late November, the marathon starts in the small hours at MBK Center in the Pathum Wan district and finishes at Sanam Luang near the Democracy Monument and the Royal Grand Palace, sending runners through a fully closed urban course past iconic landmarks including Victory Monument, Wat Benchamabophit, the Rama VIII Bridge and the Anantasamakhom Throne Hall. The weekend draws over 30,000 runners across the marathon, half marathon, 10K and family fun run.
