The Lowdown

The Aquidneck 10K starts and finishes at Second Beach in Middletown, Rhode Island, following a flat, scenic loop past beach grass and sand dunes and around the Norman Bird Sanctuary before returning along the shoreline. First held in 2019 and run every March, the race is title-sponsored by Southcoast Health and presented by NPT HealthWorks. The field is capped at 1,200 runners, and a portion of every entry fee is donated to the Norman Bird Sanctuary. Finishers receive a race shirt and medal featuring a loon, a nod to the birds that winter along Aquidneck Island's coast. Awards go to the top three male and female overall finishers, and parking is available on-site at Second Beach.

Entry Methods: Online registration via Eventbrite
Onsite race-weekend registration, first-come first-served while bibs remain
Eligibility: Open to runners and walkers of all abilities; no qualifying time or entry standard required
Cancellation & Refund Policy: Refunds and deferrals to the next year's race are allowed by emailing the organizer up to 30 days before race day, no exceptions after
The race runs rain or shine; the organizer may delay, alter, or cancel for severe weather with no refunds issued
