The Lowdown
The Canaan Valley Half Marathon, 10K and 5K returns to Canaan Valley Resort in Davis, West Virginia, on April 24–25, 2027. Each distance is offered on Saturday and Sunday: the half marathon and 10K begin at 8:30 a.m., while the 5K begins at 9 a.m. A half-mile children’s race is listed for Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Runners can choose one day or enter the Conquer the Valley Challenge for two days of racing. Its competitive division combines Saturday’s 5K with Sunday’s half marathon; other combinations are offered for fun. All runners must finish by 12:30 p.m., and half marathoners must leave the golf course around mile 12 within 3.5 hours. The organizer warns that details beyond date, distances and approximate start times are based on 2026 and may change. Giveaway items remain to be announced. Entries are non-refundable under the published cancellation policy.
