Capital City Classic 10K

The Capital City Classic 10K takes runners and walkers through downtown Little Rock. The race starts at Markham and Broadway and finishes at Capitol and Louisiana, with roughly half a mile between the two areas. The event welcomes wheelchair and handcycle entrants and offers pace groups ranging from 45 minutes to a two-hour group. A free Kids’ Mile takes place before the 10K, following an out-and-back route across Broadway Bridge; parents can accompany younger runners. Both the Kids’ Mile and the 10K include a finisher medal. The race offers at least $7,000 in elite prize money, plus complimentary entries and possible travel assistance for qualifying athletes. Packet pickup is offered at Rock City Running on the Thursday and Friday before the race, with race-morning pickup from 6:15 a.m. A discounted AC Hotel room block is linked from the organizer’s registration page.
