The Lowdown
The Carrera 5, 10 & 15K Región Zamora starts and finishes at the Santuario Guadalupano in downtown Zamora, Michoacán, and offers 5K, 10K and 15K races plus a non-timed kids' run. The 2026 edition, the fourth, ran on September 27 with the field capped at 2,000 runners, and the event has sold out. The race benefits the Centro de Rehabilitación Integral (CRI) and Rescate Michoacán, and the 2026 edition was presented by Gatorade. The 2027 date is projected from the late-September Sunday pattern and has not been announced yet. The 15K has Libre, Master and Veteranos age groups, and the time limit is 2 hours from the start.
