Casablanca Marathon
The Lowdown
The Casablanca Marathon (Marathon International de Casablanca) is Morocco's flagship road race, returning for its 17th edition on October 25, 2026. Organized as a full member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), the race starts and finishes near the iconic Hassan II Mosque on Boulevard Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah, sending roughly 10,000 runners from Morocco and abroad through the heart of Casablanca in what organizers describe as a festive, unifying atmosphere along the Atlantic coastline. Race weekend offers three distances: the 42km Marathon, the 21km Half-Marathon, and a four-person Relay Marathon, each with a wave start system (Marathon at 8:00 AM, Half-Marathon 8:45-9:00 AM, Relay 8:05 AM) and cutoff times of 6 hours for the marathon and 3 hours for the half. Entry is open to runners 18 and older, with in-person bib pickup at the Marathon Village and race-week registration at Espace Sacré Coeur on Boulevard Rachidi. 2026 registration is open now via the official site.
