The Casper Marathon is a USATF-certified, Boston-qualifying 26.2-mile road race in Casper, Wyoming, held on the first Sunday of June. It starts at the WYO Sports Ranch on a hill above the city, with a cannon-fire start at 6:00 AM, then drops to the Platte River Trail and follows the river for most of the course. The finish is at Crossroads Park, with pizza, sandwiches and live music. The weekend also has a half marathon, a 10K, a marathon team relay and a half marathon relay. Pacers are provided and aid stations sit roughly every 2 to 4 miles.
