The Lowdown
The Charleston Half Marathon is a winter road race through downtown Charleston, South Carolina, organized by Capstone Event Group with PNC Bank as title sponsor. The 2027 edition is on Saturday, January 30, with the half marathon starting at 7:00 AM and the 5K at 8:15 AM. A free Youth Marathon runs at 10:30 AM. The 2026 course was a flat city-center route that finished at Riley Park, and the 2027 course has not been announced yet. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit and water stations at miles 3, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11. Engaging Creative Minds is the 2027 charity partner.
