The Lowdown
The Original Columbus Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day event presented by Chase, with proceeds supporting Easterseals of Central and Southeast Ohio. The race is based at the Shops on Lane Avenue in the Upper Arlington area. The 4-mile run follows an out-and-back route passing Ohio Stadium, while the shorter Walk N’ Talk route runs through the Ohio State University Waterman Agriculture Center. A children’s Tot Trot takes place before the main events, and virtual options are also offered. Finishers receive a medal and a 12-inch Domino’s pizza. The organizer encourages advance packet pickup and permits another person to collect a participant’s packet. The registration page uses differing distance and age wording for the shorter walk and Tot Trot, so entrants should confirm those details with the organizer.
