The Lowdown

CPC Loop Den Haag is a half marathon run every March through The Hague, Netherlands, held since 1975 as a true City-Pier-City course linking the city center to the North Sea coast. The race starts and finishes at the Malieveld, sending runners out along a flat, fast route to the Scheveningen boulevard and back — a course that has produced some of the fastest half marathon times ever run, including Samuel Wanjiru's 58:33 course record from 2007. Also known as NN CPC Loop Den Haag for its long-time sponsor NN Group, the race pairs an elite international field with tens of thousands of recreational runners across its half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. The 50th edition took place in March 2026, and participant fundraising for the event benefits KWF Kankerbestrijding, the Dutch cancer research charity, through its Run Against Cancer program.
