Dubai Marathon
The Lowdown
The Dubai Marathon is one of the fastest marathons in the world, run on a predominantly flat, sea-level, out-and-back course along Dubai's coastal roads. Starting near Madinat Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab, the route's long, straight stretches and cool January conditions make it a renowned destination for personal bests. A World Athletics Gold Label Road Race, it has produced elite course records of 2:03:34 (men, 2019) and 2:16:07 (women, 2024) and attracts a large international field alongside its 10km road race and 4km fun run.
