Graz Marathon

The Graz Marathon is Austria's autumn city marathon, run on an AIMS-measured 42.195 km course that starts and finishes at the Opernring by the Graz Opera, at the foot of the Schlossberg, and loops through the historic squares and inner city of the Styrian capital. Currently branded the 'Kleine Zeitung Graz Marathon' after its long-running title sponsor, the regional newspaper Kleine Zeitung, the event anchors a three-day family running festival (October 9-11, 2026) headquartered at Hervis CityPark, alongside a half marathon, quarter marathon, 5K, a Hyundai-sponsored marathon relay, and children's races (Bambini Sprint, Junior Marathon).
