Halve van Haarlem

The Halve van Haarlem is a half marathon held on a Sunday in late September in Haarlem, North Holland. SportSupport Kennemerland organizes it. Run2Day is the title sponsor, so the official name is Run2Day Halve van Haarlem. The 2026 race on 27 September was the 40th edition. The half marathon starts on the Nieuwe Gracht in waves between 11:15 and 12:45. Each runner is placed in a wave by the finish time they expect. Every distance finishes on the Grote Markt, the city's main square. The routes run through the city centre and the Zijlwegkwartier and Ramplaankwartier neighbourhoods. Half marathon runners must be at least 16 and finish within 2 hours 45 minutes. The same day includes a 10K and a 5K in the afternoon, two children's runs and a BusinessRun for company teams. About 14,000 runners took part across all distances in 2026, a record for the event. The half marathon sold out before race day in both 2025 and 2026, so early entry is the safe plan. Entry fees are not refunded. Entries can be passed on only through the organizer's official resale platform.
