The Lowdown

Kraftprovet is an 11.6 km city race through the centre of Trollhättan, passing the lock and waterfall area, and it opens the Fallens Dagar festival. Start and finish are at Hansenplatsen. The route is marked with painted arrows and kilometre signs, and pacers lead 50, 55, 60 and 65 minute finishes. It is organised by Trollhättans IF Friidrott and Trollhättans SOK and celebrated its 40th edition in 2026. Shorter races run the same day, including the 6.3 km Slussprovet. The 2026 edition was held on 17 July; the next is listed for 16 July 2027, with registration opening in January 2027.
