The Lowdown

The Kyiv Unbroken Marathon has run since 2010 and is normally held in Kyiv; the 2025 edition, the 15th, took place on Trukhaniv Island. For 2026 the organizers moved it to Khmelnytskyi because of the security situation in Kyiv, and the marathon is on Sunday 25 October. The 42.195 km course is two laps of about 21 km through the city centre, starting and finishing on Heroiv Maidanu Street, on roughly 90% asphalt and 10% paving tiles with about 103 m of elevation gain. The Ukrainian Championship over 42 km is held alongside it. The field is limited to 1,320 runners, with a six-hour limit for the finisher's medal. Run under PrivatBank title sponsorship, with half of the profit from the race going to the Special Operations Forces.

Organizers kept the 24-25 October dates but moved the offline event from Kyiv to Khmelnytskyi, citing the security situation in the capital.
